DAVE SOUTAR - FULL BACK

The last, for now, of the lesser known Dee players is, ex Clyde full back, Dave Soutar. He seems like an old pro compared to the previous players in the sequence, as he managed to notch up 9 full games for the club during the 1970/71 season, when this photo was taken.

IAN SMITH - OUTSIDE RIGHT

This photo of right winger, Ian Smith, was taken in the 1970/71 season.
He did actually play in 1 full game for the first team on 21st October 1972 against Killie, and so was obviously on Dundee's books for at least 3 seasons.

DAVID HENDERSON - CENTRE FORWARD

This is David Henderson, centre forward in the 1970/71 season, although no sign of him having had any first team action.

GRAHAM ROBERTSON - FULL BACK

This one is Graham Robertson, full back for the Dee reserves in the 1970/71 season.

RAYMOND STEELE

No info on Raymond Steele other than he was at Dens in the late 60's.

ROBERT PRENTICE - OUTSIDE LEFT

This is Robert Prentice, who played outside left in 1970/71.
I also have a photo of him with the full first team squad from the same season, but there is no account of him having played with them, so I can only assume his time at Dens was with the reserves.

CHARLIE McVICAR - INSIDE FORWARD

Another one of the Dees mystery men was Charlie McVicar, inside forward in the 1970/71 season.
