Dundee set off for Austria shortly to get some pre-season training in and to play a couple of matches while they're there.63 years ago, the Dee also visited Austria for some pre-season friendlies, which included games in Germany and Italy. This was a kind of "entertaining the troops" tour, as they played all their matches against British Army teams.
The medal above was dished out to those who took part in the game in Graz, Austria, on 15th June 1946. A Dundee victory, with the match finishing 2-1.
