Was captain of St Columbas U/16 that produced Narey,Payne, McPhail etc
Michael Cairney joined Dundee from St Josephs in May 1971 but never played for the first-team. He dropped out of the Senior game for a year in 1975 by joining Downfield but he went on to play for Forfar Athletic and Brechin City in the late 70s.
