The word silverware is usually mentioned when a team wins a trophy, however on this occasion, Dundee ended up with a piece of crystalware for the display cabinet. It was a one-off prize to mark the centenary of the Scottish Football League, in 1990.The game against Ayr Utd finished 3-2 to the Dee, after extra time.
